The Dutch rabbit is a fairly small compact rabbit, with ears that stand erect and powerful back legs that are longer than the front legs. The Dutch rabbit is always white with the addition of another base color.  They are one of the most popular rabbits kept as pets today.  The average adult Dutch Rabbit will weigh between 4 to 5 ½ pounds and on average will live 5 to 8 years  Longer life spans can be expected if the animals are neutered or spayed.  The longest life span that has been reported is 15 years with 10 years not all that uncommon.

If you're looking for a gentle giant, you can't go wrong with the Flemish Giant Rabbit. Their large size might seem intimidating, but they are quite calm and sweet natured. This rabbit makes a great pet. Its personality has been compared to that of the most gentle of dog breeds. Flemish Giants usually get along very well with other pets too.
     The Flemish Giant is the largest rabbit breed in existence. These loyal pets thrive on attention, and they are gentle and mellow enough to be trusted with children. However its large size means it is not an ideal pet for small children. Small children could injure themselves or the rabbit when attempting to pick it up. But it is great for older children who can handle it properly.

Polydactyl

The extra toed cats first appeared in the U.S, England, Nova Scotia and Asia in 1868. Because of their unusual appearance, it was a commonly held belief that they were associated with witches and killed as a result. As people became more accustomed to the polydactyl cats, they were believed to be good luck, especially from the viewpoint of sailors. These cats were recognized as exceptional mousers and hunters, and as a result were often transported on ships during many overseas voyages. This is how the polydactyl made its way from Europe to the U.S

American Curl

The American Curl’s most distinctive features are its luxurious plumed tail, large walnut-shaped eyes, and backward-curling ears that give the cat a happily surprised expression. The ear-curling gene, which arose due to a spontaneous mutation, is dominant, meaning that any kitten with one curl-eared parent might inherit the trait.

American Curl kittens are born with straight ears. The ears begin firming up and curling backward when they are 3-7 days old. Ears unfurl gradually over the course of 16-18 weeks, after which they are permanently set in the adult position.
