Deer

There are many different types of deer that are found within the United States. Deer are usually not kept as pets around the household. If deer are household pets they are usually kept outdoors during the winter or

colder months. During the warmer months, deer are kept outside where they can get natural sunlight and run around and play outdoors. They eat a variety of grass, plants and shrubs while they are outdoors. Deer also usually keep to the same radius their whole lives, leaving this radius only in certain situations such as when they are in rut to follow a female.

Deer can be very loving pets if they are kept from a young age. They will follow you around like dogs and cats. You need to spend a lot of time around deer to get them to be tame and loving. Female deer cannot usually cause any harm to you except for an occasional bite or so. Wild animals will always bite when they feel like they are in danger or any type of harm. Male deer on the other hand, have horns and will use them because this is what they do to fight off other males in the wild. They will use their horns to defend themselves which is a natural instinct.

Deer should be supplied with fresh water in a water dish on an every day basis. They should also be supplied with grass, shrubs and other plants to feed on. They might also need to feed on some type of pellet food to have a healthy diet. If you feed the deer table scraps and only fruits, the deer will probably become overweight and not live as healthy of a life as it normally would. You can also give the deer vitamins if you need to.

You will need to keep the deer in some type of enclosement outside during the summer or warmer months. Winter can be harsh on deer but they still manage to do well in the wild during the winter months. Some people to choose to bring them indoors, however. You will make to make sure that the enclosement is secure so that the deer cannot escape. Deer can dig or break holes through an average cage.

Way to rip this amazing article off Shannon Frye. I can't blame you; if I were going to plagiarize anyone, it would be that wondrous worldly wordsmith.
